Welcome to Ria’s Work/Shop
Just off the A35 on the edge of Dorset in Devon you will find our unique little work/shop.. a place where we make our candles and gifts while being open for others to join us and make their own candle at our make bar or to simply browse our products and the range of carefully curated goodies that we have selected to compliment what we do.
From books, crystals, homeware and jewellery you are sure to find something personal and unique for that special person (or of course yourself). We have gifts for all budgets and is a treasure trove for those who are interested in the more magical side of life.
Here are some brilliant reasons why you could visit us today:
1. It smells amazing and people always say it’s worth the visit just to linger in the smell.
2. We have endless free parking just outside our door.
3. If you want to take your time to browse then just ask us to put the kettle on and we will make you a herbal as you enjoy some time to yourself
4. You will find unique and wonderful gifts that you can’t find anywhere else. You can even personalise candles or make something yourself.
5. You can tie it in with a trip to the Teapot cafe and enjoy some yummy cake and a coffee making it a lovely afternoon out.
6. You can pop into to Millers Farm Shop and the FishShack to get something yummy for tea while you are here.
7. You can explore our scents and make up your scented sachet or reed diffuser while you are there.. if there is space at the Make Bar.
8. You get to chat to us… and we are all pretty lovely 😉
9. You can loose yourself in a book for a moment.. we have some shop copies to flick through or see if we have a book in stock which interests you.
10. Pull a card from one of our open oracle card packs.. what message will you get?
11. Choose a crystal from the middle table and see what message it holds for you.
12. Explore our essential oils which you can buy by the ml.. make up your own blend, rollerball or inhaler while you are here.
13. Fill up your bottles with our unscented bases and then choose to scent them with essential or fragrance oils.
I mean I could go on.. we are only a small space but our vision is to be more than just a shop. Our aim is to make it a relaxing experience so that anyone who comes into browse feels better as a result. To give people a safe space to browse and explore without the pressure of having to hurry or leave. We are welcoming to all (even little four legged friends) and truly hope you will come and visit us soon.
