How To Use Wax Melts

Wax melts are quite new on the scene but they are an incredibly powerful way to scent your home and is completely non toxic depending on the brand you are using. We use Soy wax in all of ours so they are vegan, they are not tested on animals and are all non-toxic.
Basically you break off little chunks of scented wax and then sit it in the bowl of your wax melter. Wax melters can be heated with a little tea lights or you can use electric ones too which are ideal if you have little hands around the house which may be tempted to touch the flame of the tea light. Because there is no wick to worry about then candle makers can add more scent to the wax so they are more highly scented and just a small block can pack a punch (in the most wonderful way)

Wax melts can come in snap bars like ours below or they can come in little tartlets, in small scoopies, little hearts and stars and basically any shape the candle maker feels inspired to make.

You could even get creative and melt two scents together and come up with your own home fragrance making them super flexible.

The only downside to wax melts (for me) is that you need to clean out the bowl of your wax melter in between burns if you wanted to change the scent instead of simply lighting a different candle but when the wax is set you may be able to scoop it out and replace it. I have seen little wax melts tart tins which I presume you can sit inside the burner bowl which may be worth looking at if you like to switch up your scents.

So if we have managed to convince you that wax melts are worth dabbling with here are our incredible scents in beautiful bars for you to try:
